Behind my house where i ride everyday there is a piece of land about 5 acers or so...but anyway the person who owned it before always let me pass though to get to the pits I ride in. Now he sold the land to some people who hate atv's (they think they "wreck the enviroment") in other words they are tree huggers. anyway my point is I now have no way to get back to the pits now without tresspassing on their property. I dont feel like having them call the cops on me. Anyway I just would like to say how crappy my riding life is gonna be from now on......Please visit my web page at http://members.xoom.com/upstatryders/ to check out where I ride. DONT WORRY IM NOT GONNA QUIT RIDING OVER SOME DAMN TREE HUGGERS!!!

I try my best to change there attitude on bikes and quads, I have converted a few nebors to allow me to ride on there property as long as i dont tear things up.. People like this are so hard headed it may be impossable though.

if you have any brains at all you WILL stop riding over a couple of "tree huggers" -- at least on their property.

try this: instead of using this bulletin board to gripe about your empty life now that your short cut has been taken away, try speaking to the owners in a RESPECTFUL and MATURE fashion. anti-atvers, in almost all cases, got that way from dealing with either a) hillbillies or b) adolescent nimrods who tear up the land and speak english as a second language.

trust me, ive been on both sides of this one...

good luck.

The bridge you burn by being a jerk just may be the only one to get you to your only riding spot!

Try & win them over by talking to them & let them get to know you. If you ride without their permission, than can have you arrested for trespassing.

It is the "hell with the land owners, I am going to do what I want" attitude of a few, that hurts all riders by giving land owners a bad perception of the majority of ATV riders.

Do the responsible thing & we all win.

Good Luck

Where i live is in the city limits. There is this field across the street that i ride in every so often.Mainly during BBQS and family get togethers. It seems like everyone wants to ride the quads during these times. While we ride the City Police drive by and dont say much cause were not tearing around and makeing alot of dust to cause the neighbors to complain.I have been told by one cop that when the neighbors start to complain the field will be off limits. So far all has been ok and everyone is happy.I guess the point im trying to make is that im cool about it and dont **** no one off,So i keep my little patch of dirt for the family on them holidays...BOB
