Whats up, I am 15 yrs. old 5'8'', 150lbs. I am wondering what kind of dirt bike to get. I was leaning kind of towards a CR250, or a YZ250, which do u think. I'd say forget about anything above a 125 for your age and size......I get scared just sitting on a 250 on the showroom floor and I'm 6' and 200lbs [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

 

Unless you are a VERY experienced, a 125 would be enough. A stock YZ125 can run right along with a stock DS650. The 125's are VERY quick. The 250's are even more!!!! Ride them all and see what you like. But in my opinion, Yamaha makes the best 125 and 250. But that is just my opinion

 

If you have to have a 250 go with a 4stroke like an XR otherwise do like the rest have said ......go with a 125.
