I dont have a system anymore. Been doing them and competing for about 14 yrs though. My latest project was my bros truck, It's a 97 Standerd cab Short Bed F150. We did the system last spring. It has the following. I cant remember exact models but you'll get the idea.

pioneer premeir cd head unit
Audio Control 4.0 Para EQ
1 Kicker 100 HC amp (kicker tested it at 1300 rms @1ohm)
1 Kicker Bass Module with adjustable gain and Crossover points
1 Butler 75Wx2 tube amp (rare amp, cleanest in the industry)
4 JL 12's (I think W3's?) in a custom desighned by JL Audio bed box, built by me.
1 set of 6.5 MB quart seperates for front
1 set of MB quart 5.25 seperates for rear fill installed under a baffle for spaciousness
Both MB sets are their top-o-dline

I wish I could remember the models but when your in sales for a living, model #'s just blend together after awhile. So far the Truck has never been beat in the Wyoming area. Highest DB rating was 154.3 recorded at the Northwest Regional USAC Champoinship. In port wars the highest recorded was 165.2 DB, same event. Won Sound Quality champion in truck class, same event. Had invite to the world finals but due to my bro's daughter being born the same week were unable to attend. Fun stuff but not my love anymore, just not practicle with a kid.

I am looking for a good buy cheap system (around $200 for everything amp, subs) and was wondering if lightning audio was any good. If not what would be some good subs for little money. Please let me know asap. thanks

I currently don't have anything but some aftermarket door speakers.......
but I have had a bad system or two

I at one time had 3 DVC 12's on a punch amp.....

then (in my current truck) I had 2 HX2 DVC Fosgate 12's and a Punch Power 750s amp

Well I had a 1994 Yukon 2-Door with:

Eclipse 5441 Deck
JL Audio 500X1 Monoblock
(1) Audiomobile 12" Seald Box
Some offbrand 5 1/4" component set

This setup hit HARD for one 12" but the SQ was crap

I also had a 1988 Ford F150 with:

Sony CDX-910
Orion XTR 250 & 275 amps
(2) Boston Acoustics 10" Rally subs
Boston Pro 6.5" Components

This setup sounded beautiful and totally balanced

I had a Clarion ADCS-1 I bought brand new and was going to install it in a 1986 Prosche 944 but I never did. Wish I would have

I don't care much for spending money on car audio stuff anymore all I ahve right now is a basic system in my 65 Mustang:

Eclipse EQZ touch screen cassette player
Blaupunkt 4x20w Amp with Pioneer 6x9s

Some of you guys have some really nice setups here.
