Sorry to hear about their misfortune. Are there many places to ride in Scotland? I was in Scotland twice, the last time was about 9 years ago. I thought things had changed alot in the few years (about 12) after my first visit. Seemed like more cars on the road and more trees had grown up. The first time we did more traveling around to the Castles, Tattoo, (not sure if I spelled correctly), Edinburgh games, snooker and pints at the pub. I hope I didn't just mix up where the games were. It's been about 21 years since I was at those places. There are some strong winds that blow through Edinburgh. We also crawled through some old bomb shelters when we were there the first time. I have family that has recently bought land in Ireland and plan to build a home there. The process seems a little harder than here. --Well, be careful riding.

There are a few places to go trail riding, although the size of Scotland is probably about the size of one of your trials in the us.

There a few good Moto X track's though.

If your over again you should visit the West of Scotland that where I am. It is a more modern, and loch lomond has so of the nicest scenery u will see anywhere. Plus u can do a bit of water ski-ing while your there.
Glasgow is the biggest city in Scotland has a great night life.
The Isle of Arran has a few good trails I am told.

Worth a visit.

Regards

A proud Scotsman

I was at a castle that had a grave yard for the Knights dogs down over the edge of the castle wall. I think that castle was in Glasgow wasn't it? Do they still hold the Tattoo? It's hard for me to remember if that was held at the base of the same castle. At the end of the performance a white horse and rider appear way up in a light at the top of the castle. Does this sound familiar?
