I can't believe that Johnny Cash passed away. I was very sad when I heard that, but I am sure that the greatest country\rock musician of all time will live on forever.

"That great light is what brings us in this world, and that light takes us out of this world. And I am ready to go into that light"

Johnny Cash couldn't live much longer after his wife died. I couldn't believe that she died first.

John Ritter also died today at the age of (I think) 54. Didn't see that coming.

The death of Johnny Cash reminds me of George Jones song: "Who's Gonna Fill Their Shoes".

He was an amazing artist, the remake he did of hurt was great and one of the best songs of the year. I never would have imagined anyone remaking a NIN song and having it sound decent. God bless you Johnny.

I never noticed that their were other Johnny Cash fans. You know, I am only 17 but last fall was the first time that I really noticed Johnny Cash. Since then, I now own 10 of his cd's, 7 8-tracks and four records. That's all I ever listen to. I am so thankfull that I have found this great music of his. Has anybody here heard his song The Man Comes Around? He wrote 3 dozen pages of lyrics, worked on it for years, and finally came out with the song that's found on his latest CD, The Man Comes Around, american recordings IV. Do yourself a favour and pick it up, some songs will really get you thinking. Long live the Man In Black
