I made one out of a partial strap that I found while out wheeling. Somebody had tied a 2" strap in a knot, then couldn't get it off the truck, so they cut it off, left it there. I took it home, cut the ends clean, then took the strap to a boot repair guy who sewed the loops in the ends for me. It's about 6'6" long, and works great. Only cost me $4.00 for the sew job. Another cheap option would be to buy some strapping from a hardware store, usually around $1.00 a foot, cut what you want, then have it sewn.
Just a thought.
