HI im evan luta and i am a sophmore at Campbell-savona school i am currently enroled in a independent science research class. This class lets me pick what i want to research. I picked atv and the thing that make them work and all of that good stuff. I no quite a bit about atv's and i came across this site and i was hopeing that someone could help me find information where they are making inavations on atv's or any one no a lot about them.

ok now that i read it better, a motor runs them (no crap) and they are based in size by cc or (cubic centimeters) there is a whole lot to a engine for an atv, the,, there is a valve that lets you turn on the gas and off, and there is reserve, and there are 3 different kinds of cooled engines

liquid cooled, air cooled, and a few are fan cooled, and 2 different kinds of engine internals, a 2 stroke is louder, uses a mix of gas and oil (read directions on back of oil bottle) and they usually don't last as long with out going without a new engine, and then there are the stronger 4 strokes, they are quieter, and just take unleaded fuel.

Thanks for that information but i already new that. I ride a four wheeler all the time and no all about them how they work and all of that stuff. I looking for like where they make inovations on them. I no honda is trying to make atv that are more ozon friendly.

they made the honda 450 and it just came out in september, but i didn't hear anything about the emissions and what not being better,
