Two Stroke Car - I Want To Buy It!
#1
I just found a two stroke powered car on Ebay. I remember hearing rumors afew years ago that SAAB used to make a V4 and a Two Stroke car as well so after a little research I found this:
1966 SAAB
Water cooled smoker! I would love to have this. Imagine a little porting work and some Toomeys. I'm sure parts would be hard to find for it but I bet it would be a blast to drive and people would wonder what the heck it is.

The V-4 in those Saabs was a Ford industrial engine. Our neighbor had one. The drivers seat would slide all the way back to the back seat and the 4-speed trans a column-shift. Not having the shifter on the floor and the seat moving so far back, it allowed this guy that was 7"2" and 325 lbs to drive this car. When he stood next to it the roof came to his waistline. It was fun watching him pull up and get out, made the car look like a Match-Box car. I know where there is a green station wagon 3-cly for sale, its green and just as ugly. There is also a Iseta in the neighborhood.

Get a Mazda rotary. Two stroke ( no valves ) three compression cycles per rotor times two. 1300 cc's 250 hp three moving parts and it can be race ported. Now thats a two stroke I want.

Two stroke ( no valves )
Just because an engine does not have valves does not make it 2 stroke.
A Rotary is an entirely different beast and as the name implies, there are no "strokes" only rotating action.
A 2 stroke is called such because the piston makes one down and one up stroke per firing event. Consequently, a 4 stroke's piston makes 4 per firing event.
