Help! I'm a desert rat. Cold weather riding.
 

I'm in the desert and am not used to this weather. (you guys in the east and north, no laughing)

This morning it was 27 deg! Now it has warmed up to 45 deg! BRRRRR!

Anyway I'm dying to go riding. What is the warmest clothes that will allow me to ride w/o getting in the way or restricting my body?


PS. I was gonna wash my Jeep but the pipes are frozen

lol... I was riding in the type of weather yesterday...had my helmet on...boots on jeans on a t-shirt and my leather jacket....sorry bout laughing but I think it is kinda funny

I figured that you cold weather folks would get a kick out of me here. It ocasionally gets 35 deg at night but it usually warms up to 65-70 by noon. It's still 45!

I want my 125 in the shade back!

lol yeah...last christmas I was out wearing the same thing except it was 0 degrees F. and a 20 mph wind plus the wind that comes with going 30...so about a total of 50 mph wind...ohh and I was wearing a pair of sunglasses too

sometimes I sit here thinking how awfull it must be for people down south or on the west coast, because they cant go sleding...... That must suck

sleding as in snowmobiles...or sleding as in sliding down a hill on a piece of plastic....because they could head to the dunes and ride a dune on a sled...that would be kinda fun

dragracer-We can go to the beach, skiing, sleding, or desert riding, ALL ON THE SAME DAY!! I live 1 hr from the beach. I look out my front window at a 12,000' mountain covered with snow. Or, in 2 hrs I can be riding at Glamis. We have variety like nowhere else!!

Chris-I layer on some Hot Chillys underneath, and a Moose Monarch Pass jacket and pants over top.

I mean snowmobiling. Who in here acually rides a sled down a hill when you can wheelie down it?

Dammm, 2 hours to glamis? can i follow you there on thanksgiving? I cant make it under 3........and i live where it snows many feet a year. I can look down to loma linda and to the ocean. I love it here!
