I was thinking about piainting my racks with the RHINO bed liner paint i hear that stuff is indestructable do you think its a good idea?[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

 

Sounds cool to me. I think you can even get that stuff in different colors too.

 

definately sounds like a good idea to me. I hate worrying about stuff sliding off the racks, a rubber coating would be much much better

 

I had thought of doing the same thing because I don't like to take them off and repaint them when they get scratched and start to rust again every few years. Excellent idea, IMO.

 

Make sure you use some type of prep before spraying them, like acetone or something along those lines. If you don't, you might have some trouble with adhesion. I've sprayed quite a few things with liner (Jeep grills, bumpers, floors, etc.) and that stuff works great. A buddy of mine even Rhino lined his whole Jeep!!! The best part about it, if you do hit something hard enough to chip some off, you just spray a little touch up on there and you're set!

 

This might even be good to spray on the old outhouse.
