When I first read your thread I thought the link Barstools was going to be the name of the company not an actual barstool. LOL

I have never seen one of those before and you better wear full helmet with face guard with no pot holes around. Very odd.

I was going to build one, but all I've done so far is bought tires and wheels. I'm starting to think now that a cooler cart would be, uh, cooler.

The guys on Horsepower TV actually drag raced them in an 1/8 mile. They got to around 45mph I think. Theirs had NOS on them too. One of the guys lost control and rolled his

Recliner 4x4 go-cart. Lower center of gravity and more comfortable.

I am in the process of a little R&D on the off-road version....larger knobby tires and a lower center of gravity are an absolute....

If I build it like a slick tired stool racer I think I would be hurtin' for certain. It will definately be unique.

I do like the recliner 4x4 idea.....

i am in thye middle of building one. I am going to make it more off road than some of those draggers but if i like them i want to make another for dragging and take it to the anual roadster show evryyear out here. last year i was talking to one of them about them and they let me drive one to see how i liked it. they feel more stable than you would think. they are pretty heavy at the bases with the engine and everything packed into such a small area. that is what got me going on them
