I'm driving a Ford F-150. I dont consider it a tow rig but it does what I need. Going to be looking into the Ford F250 Powerstroke Diesel 6.0 in a few months. Also considering the Chevy Duramax Diesel.

I'd lean towards the Ford over the Chevy. I had nothing but problems with the last Chevy I had, a 2000 Silverado. You're gonna laugh at this, but I'm towing the quad and trailer with a Saturn SL2. Not the ideal rig, I'll grant you that, but it'll have to do for now.

an F-350 crew cab 4x4 with a 7.3 powerstroke. i tote the atvs on a 18' bumper pull and when we go camping i pull a 40' delta fifth wheel travel trailer. we've been to the grand canyon, niagra falls, yellowstone and several spots in south texas with it and have never had any trouble with it.

Chevy Duramax Diesel w/the Allison tranny! Never have had an issue towing anything I've hooked to! Plus its nice getting 16 mgp towing and 20 mpg driving!

97 Ram with a 318 and auto tranny. I have a little flatbed trailer just big enough for one quad that I use if I need to haul more than just mine. My dad has a 7x16 enclosed trailer I could use but we don’t ride much right now so I haven’t made use of it yet.
In a few years when I’ve got a place to do it, I want to buy an old school bus and turn it into a toy hauler motor home. Probably will section off the back 12-15ft and add a garage door. I haven’t really looked into it much though because it’s a ways off. I’ve never seen it done but cant think of any major reason why not. There are a few possible negatives like I don’t know whether a bus is wide enough to fit 2 quads side by side inside and they get terrible gas mileage. But there are al lot of big positives too like very low cost to purchase one and they will go places a motor home would not and places that I just wouldn’t take a fancy motor home.
