There stupid. The first time they jump the thing or hit a bump there going to break or dent the things. Besides that its stupid looking.

I saw an article on wheels for cars awhile back, where people with $2k cars put $3k of wheels and tires on them...and apparently will skip the phone, heat, electric bills, etc. rather than risk missing a payment losing their wheels. It's sad. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img]

 

i usually try and wear out my stock parts before i replace them

as pricey as quads are,,,I at least try and get my moneys worth

 

We have a lot of bikes that are drag purpose only. Although a lot of people see them as huge bling bling money pits there isnt much to them. Mainly a motor/frame/swingarm. Other then that its only necessity items like resevoirs and such. A lot of people like to chrome stuff, but i prefer to polish it in case somethign chips or cracks.

If i were mx'ing i wouldnt spend a dime on shiny stuff though
