aproach you isp see what the go is on putting up a web page....go to your library and get a good html book
i brought a book called 'creating web pgaes with html - simplified (2nd edition)' by MaranGraphics....take your time...follow the steps....once you have designed your first pages its like falling off a log!......easy......make sure you find a good server.....traffic can slow down page download speeds, and with me half way around the world....it can be irritating.....if the page takes for ever to appear on my computer....
post us the web page when you have done so i can see ya quad

See, thats my problem, I hate HTML. I know very little about it. Thats why I used Homestead. You don't need HTML, but you still can use it if you want.
I agree with the other guy, check out www.homestead.com. They also have a free 4 minute tour so you can see what it is like before you sign up.

you can also check out Yahoo.com for a "briefcase" which will hold lots of pics and is easy to "store" them for easy viewing.

Yes, free. There are other free sites out ther, like geocities, excite, xoom, and more.....But I like Homestead the best. Just my opinion. Check it out, can't hurt any, like I said, they have a free tour, so you can decide if it is right for you or not.

I have my homepage hosted at www.tripod.com . 10MB of space, imbedded ads and it is free. I use frontpage express. It is a WUSIWUG (what you see is what you get)editor. using Front page Express there is no need to know HTML. It is real easy to use and you can copy and paste you photos and graphics to a web folder with out having to browse and upload. Front Page Express is free from Microsoft, and is included with all windows 9x versions too.
Take a look at my page. http://kdefoor.tripod.com
If you have any questions e-mail me I will help you get started.
