How much is gas in your area?

I just read an article on CNN and they wrote that the gas prices are going to heading over 2 dollars by Labor Day Weekend. Guess it is time to go fill some gas cans for hunting season, after all I don't want to cut into the beer fund too much.JK(maybe).

Our 87 octane is at $1.89 now. It was at $1.82 a few days ago.
Has anyone noticed that the price of gas cans has also gone up? I used to be able to buy a combo of one 5 gallon can and one 1.5 or 2 gallon can for $5.50 at the local Walmart. Now just one 5 gallon container is up to $15.00 per can.

coyote,
I would not know about the price of cans going up as my neighbor throws them over my fence all the time. Him and his buddies go riding all the time and they (not him) forget to grab extra cans when they go and end up buying new ones. He gets them when the trip is over because they all live in apartments or condos and they can not keep them there. Right now I figure I have enough for at least 90 to 100 gallons worth, from the 1 gallon up to the 5 gallon cans and I keep taking them on the off chance I ever get the chance to go on the river boat hunt for moose one fall. Those trips take a couple hundred gallons to go on and you stash the cans along the river where you might need them on the return trip.
I was just at NAPA and wanted to get a price check for the oil filter for my Kodiak and the price was around 8 bucks when I bought it last fall and now they want almost 12 bucks for it, that is a dollar cheaper then the dealer, ouch.
