Default Help.. shipping Large item... ????

I sold a 2-up Polaris Snowmobile seat to a guy in Washington DC,.... I'm in Alberta Canada. The seat is approximately 4'x2'x1.5', and weighs approx 35lbs. Fedex said $800 to ship,.. Loomis was $1000,.. and Canada post says too large to ship!!!... I sold it for $300 so obviously need a better solution,.. any ideas appreciated

Do they have a Greyhound stop near you? If you're not in a big hurry, that might be a solution. I don't know how big of items they will accept, but I had a set of golf clubs and bag sent by Greyhound.

Maybe a trucking company like Roadway. Otherwise, I don't know.

Shipping internationally kind of complicates things, even across an imaginary border like the US/Canada line.
