id rather have broken plastics than a bent axle!! Belive me!

$300-$400 fir an axle

 

ebay should have plastics. it always does every so often.
jarod look in the letters sections of your dirtwheels mags and i remeber someone writing in and saying that big bear plastics were brittle.
but yamaha was adressing the problem. i guess we both got the models with bugs huh?

 

i think your right, i'll try to get 02 or newer plastics, i hope i find some good fairly cheap ones too.
it seems every model year has its little quirks.

 

My dad broke his front plastic one time on his 96 big bear SE. He priced out a new fender and almost had a heart attack. He went and bought one of tire flaps For a pick up truck and put it where the bottom piece cracked off. I think they wanted like 80 dollars for the new piece. Mud flap saved him a lot of money and its tougher as well.

 

that hurts, i'll probably live with these, the little piece broke off a few days ago, but dosn't hurt the mud protection much, actually, the muyd flap might kind of fit behind the hole form the little piece, might try that, any more sugesstions anyone??
