This morning my dad and I was washing our two grizzlys an my warrior , we use pressure washer to clean them off after we get back from Finger Lakes. Anyways he got to close to the tank stickers and off they went . I thought that was funny as hell but he didn't think that at all. I would like to hear other people mishapsout there to

 

also happened to me.

 

I was out on a rally on my brand new machine, it had 3 hours on it. Stopped to have a beer and a bite to eat. When we were ready to go, turned the key, hit the start, and nothing!! Not a click, nothing. Dash lights were on, and I was in neutral. Pissed off now, I grabbed the pull start and proceeded to give it about 20 pulls, wouldn't go. Checked the gas, good. Check the gas selector, good. Father-in-law walks up, turns the engine kill switch to run.......[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

 

That kill switch gets a lot of people. I once had the front end plastic off of a Honda 300 looking for an "electrical problem."[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif[/img]

 

I spent several days messing with spark plugs, carb tuning and fuel filters trying to fix the sluggish performance on my Sportsman, only to find a piece of that foam by the gas tank was partially blocking my air intake tube. GRRRRRRR[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-disgusted.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-disgusted.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img]

 

the parking brake got me a couple of times but not for long

hit the gas hard and you dont get you get really scared like somethings wrong you know the feeling like when you quad breaks and you know you wont ride for a while and you notice the parking brake on

 

my friend accidently peeled the black off the front of his raptor (the plastic in front of the radiator) but he peeled it all of and it looks pretty good now haha

 

Peeled the striping off a Ford Ranger that way once with a garden hose. Not pretty.

 

I've seen seats ripped with pressure washers as well. Be careful

 

this didnt happen to me but a few years ago a friend and I were building an engine for a strip car and we were installing a dual carb tunnel ram manifold and my friend dropped a bolt down inside , after a few minutes trying to find a flashlight but not having any luck he decides to use his cigarette lighter and of coarse he had his head completely over the top of the manifold when the fuel fumes ignited sending his hair and eye brows a blaze - he wasn't hurt and afterwards we both had a good laugh. Sorry this story is off topic but i had to share it was pretty funny !
