ATTN Minnesota ATV riders (Others too!!!)

I just found this article, send them some nice e-mails! Even if you don't live in Bemidji this could impact others by spreading to your community.
An ordinance banning all-terrain vehicle use in county road ditches will be reviewed Tuesday, April 13, 2004, by Beltrami County commissioners.
Slated for discussion as part of the board’s afternoon work session, a draft ordinance seeks to protect county rights of way from damage caused by ATVs.
Commissioners will also hold a formal public hearing and a second reading on another proposed ordinance at their regular meeting Tuesday evening.
If you ride, would like to ride, have friends or land in this area then it would be a good idea to contact the commissioners below and express your concerns. Most officials are happy to hear from people outside of their county, but resident/land owner comments will take precedence. When submitting comments please remember to be polite and courteous. Any derogatory comments will be discarded.
We apologize for the short notice. We just heard about this today. We will keep you informed as we find out more details.
