BEST THING EVER
Sorry about that i hit enter by accident
My friend found an ol' shopping cart in his back woods, and i have an old vertical 5hp engine from a pushmower that i am in the process of putting together again.
Shopping Cart + Engine = GO SHOPPING KART
This thing is going to Rip...
we are going to use a bike front fork as the stearing, make it a 4 wheeler, either weld pipe or use PVC pipe to make the roll cage., and we are going to do a lot of cutting.
We are going to put sheet metal on the sides to weld the roll cage on, this is going to be A LOT of work, prolly take the whole summer
I have 1 question, to weld the roll cage, would i just use a regular torch, or tac weld it? I know tac wellding is like dot dot dot, and regular is a line of welds, but i 'm not sure if i need it to be that sturdy?
Thanks, i'll post pics when its done.

Dang,, thats a good idea...Sounds fun to build..wish I could help..I love riging things together...as for the roll cage.. You could tac weld it but you would have to space the welds closer together for better support..But if you think your going to be rolling her quit a bit..a full weld would be your best bet and the strongest hold.....well good luck with you project...and if you get this thing running then defenetly post some pictures!
