I cant get a hispeed connection here. I live too far away from "the box". So I'm stuck with a slow speed dialup connection regardless of who I go through.

The nearest cable modem stops 7 miles away.

 

I've had cable for 3 years now and forgot what it's like for a page to take over 2seconds to load and forgot what its like to get booted =)

 

I used to have floodcity for 3 years then got adelphia cable internet. The cable is so much faster but so much more cable internet and cbale for the tv is like $88 something a month. Flood city was only $12 a month and for the cable was like $40.

 

I keep calling AOL to cancel, but every time I do they add a couple more free months of service. So why not. I had Netzero but that was too slow, not that AOL's any better. Just free.

 

I bet your one of those people that have a bunch of free ketchup and mustard packets stored at home.

 

I am finally dumping AOL. I now have dsl in my area. I will be switched within the week!

v force.....when you do, make sure you have all the info from your email, and your buddy list....because you wont be able to recover it when they cancel you. you know what really sucks now....i just moved, and i used to have optimum online (provided by cablevision).....and now......i freakin have roadrunner highspeed......and guess who is the parent company of roadrunner.......aol time warner. im going to buy 50 miles of cable wire and boycott them. hehe.....

 

yea, aol is for wimps who have a hard time using "Wingdows" (i'm on linux [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]) i dont think we can get cable where we are [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-disgusted.gif[/img] but one of our friends has it so... sneak to his house and DOWNLOAD anything you can find!!!

I want to get one of the real high speed set-ups, but I can't run another cable line all through the apartment without the landlord gettin' pissy........so free AOL for me!!

 

Too bad AOL is not as hot as that stuff[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img]

If you ever needed to be cleaned out just put a bunch of that on your taco's and you will get a taco surprise later.
