dancingqueen- Do you have the extra large gas tank in your jeep? I think my Wrangler had a 20 gallon if I remember correctly. The first time I filled it up I almost had a heart attack. (I didn't know the tank was so large.)

Reformulated gas to keep the smog down..........if the price keeps going up, that will keep the smog down, too.

How does the price of the reformulated gas compare to other octanes? Is everyone required to buy the reformulated? Are there other octanes offered for sale? This is all new news to me.

They still have all octanes, They add oxygen to the gas (oxygenated). They use this gas in hotter months and switch back for winter months. There is always a shortage durring those months that they switch.

$1.91 for the middle grade in NE Fl. but surprisingly my ATV has fantastic fuel milage. I can get about 20 hours from one full tank and about 30 minutes on the backup tank and its only a 2.9 gallon fuel cell. Is that good Fuel Milage?
