what size tire will fit on a 12x7 wheel? and can someone tell me how to know what size wheel will fit on what size tire.

 

if this is what you mean, the tire is read heightXwitdhXrim size, so the 12x7 would be a 12 inch rim that is 7 inches wide

 

thanks for that incredibly quick response. so a 25x10x13, I don’t know if that size exists, would fit on a 13x10 rim? and would a 12x7 rim fit on a 25x7x12 tire? and does the height of the rim come first or second when a rim is being measured?

 

it is possible, and is most likely that the tire is an inch or two wider than the rim. so you can have rim that is 10 inches wide, but could have, lets say a 12 inch wide tire on it. i believe the rim is measured heightXwidth
