I've actually been checking this thing out for a while, since it went into concept design last year...what do you all think??? Dodge tomahawk: 500HP, 525lbs. of torque, v10 viper-based engine. Technically, can reach speeds upwards of 400 mph. OVER HALF A MILLION DOLLARS EACH!!! i'd love to slip that engine into my YFZ lol..

Doesnt seem anywhere near possible to get 400mph with that hp, thats crazy.

 

$500K for a non street legal bike. The sad part is some multi billionare is gonna get one and it will never see the light of day. Insane bike though!!!

 

I dont think it could come close to overcoming the wind drag at speeds anywhere near 400 mph but i could be wrong.

 

Yeah thats kinda what I was thinking. I had heard somewhere that at like nascar speeds it can take 7hp to gain just 1mph, at 300 to 400mph it would be insane. Especially with that design, bikes arent as aerodynamic as they look. But I guess they meant mathmatically the power to weight ratio and gearing could reach 400mph or something.

 

That thing is crazy! LOL, kinda cool too!

 

Am I seeing right? Does that thing have 4-wheels? Technically, that wouldn't be a bike then right? Never seen anything like it I can tell you that.

I saw one of those at the Dodge expo at the Barret Jackson auction in scottsdale this year. It looked CRAZY[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img]
but looked more like it was more for display more than it was for riding.
