does anybody know anything about RC cars?

I'd say your tuning is way off! Lean on the lowend will use the fuel before it can keep up and, dry it out quick! Try richening the lowend a 1/4 turn! how long have you had the Evader? How many tank have you run through it?

it was running b/f and i broke it in. a screw came loose and made it to where the throttle was always wide open. it still started up everytime but would rev. high b/c the throttle was still messed up. i didnt mess with it for a while, then a couple months after it messed up, i fixed it. after i fixed it i tried to start it and it was doing what it is doing now.

the line is staying filled up, but it only runs if i prime it to put gas in the carb then it runs for a sec and dies. then i prime again and get the same results.

take the fuel line off the carb inlet and, make sure the carb nipple is not plugged. I'd also put a squirt of WD 40 in the carb and, crank it throught the motor to make sure no old Nitro fuel is gummed up in there.
Run for a second and, die is most likely a tuning problem otherwise. If the last time you ran it was cold out and, now it is warm the tuning will be way off.. it this is the exact case your more likely rich. you richen in the cold and, lean out in the warm. Try richening the lowend needle in increments till it runs for more than a second.
