I would pass it up. If the compression is so high you cant even kick start it, you will have to be running $5 or more per gallon type of gas. I would think that even trying to push start it, it wouldnt turn over if the compresion was THAT high. Doesnt sound right to me.

Sounds like a drag race or desert only machine if the compression is that high. Of course, if its cheap you could always buy a lower compression piston and re ring it.

According to the Wiseco catalog you cant get a xr600 piston any higher than 11:1 compression. So either its a custom job or something is amiss.
