post your top speed here

I did some testing of friends quads last night. Using a gps and I'm assuming that it is accurate.
400ex Honda. Completly stock right down to the short rear tires: 68.1mph.
KFX-400. Stock except for a dial-a-jet: 66.3 mph.
Yes folks the old aircooled Honda walks away from the KFX/Z-400! Who wooda thunk?

Here's another one. My 82' ATC250R. It's completly stock except that It is geared for speed.
I replaced the chain and sprockets a few years back. The bike shop did not have the stock gearing instock so I ended up with +1 on the front and -3 on the rear.
Even with this gearing it tops out at 56.1 mph using the GPS.

The Z/KFX is faster in a drag race but the 400EX has more top speed. This thread is about top speed and not acceleration. I was able to ride next to my friend on his Z-400, I was on another guys 400EX with my GPS in my left hand. Once the Z ran out and could do no more I still had a little bit left on the Honda.
I ride a Green quad and thought that the Z would be faster, I also thought my 250R would be faster.
The GPS does not lie.
