does anyone know what the fastest street production bike is? does susuki still have it wiht the hybushia? i kn oit off topic but j/wing

 

Kawasaki was trying to claim the honors with their latest: the ZX-12R. Not sure if it has dethroned the Hayabusa yet or not.

 

How fast is the Hayabusa?

 

It's topspeed is 187 mph. It can go faster, but it is regulated to stay at that speed and not any faster. All street bikes are regulated not to go faster then 187. How they came up with that number, I don't know. How do I know this, it was on the Discovery channel a few weeks ago. And yes, it is still the fastest.

 

The Haybausas are fast, but they are heavy as heck and really crappy for stunting.

 

Damn 187 is that all?

 

IMO the fastes has to be the Dodge Tomahawk too bad its not a production bike it would be nice to have 500 horses between your legs.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

I do believe the new Kawasaki is the fastest stock for stock.

I know their ZX-10 is scary fast.

 

Fastest is arbitrary. Fastest in what way?

Top speed? An enclosed jet bike broke the sound barrier.
Stock top speed? Hayabusa right now.

1/4 mile? Suzi GS1150E still holds that title, has for 15 years.

Stoplight to stoplight? I think the cops still hold that title, or your license. One of those.

NO 1 .. KAWASAKI ZX12 202MPH
NO 2.. SUZUKI HIYABUSA 201MPH
NO 3.. I DONT LIKE TO SAY BU THE NEW ZX 10 IS A BEAST , BUT MY SUZUKI GSXR 1000 WITH DE-RESTRICTOR KICKS ITS BUT , BIG TIME .. HA HA
