Good Reason not to vote for Kerry!!!

Kerry is running for president, which by definition is swearing to uphold and defend the constitution of this country.
In his desperation to achieve this office, he and his party are taking steps through legal intimidation to halt the marketing of the books and the privately funded free speech of a group (the swift boaters).
Just this action disqualifies him from holding that or any public office.
**** book burner.

OK, so you guys are going to vote for Bush because you think Kerry will take away your riding land? You guys are out of your MINDS to vote for Bush. Now, I know I'm not going to change anyone's mind (I know how political discussions work), but you really should take a look at his stats (since Kerry's were posted). And the swiftboatsveteransfortruth ads were taken off the air, they have gotten a laywer (because I am sure they're going to be sued for slander). Yes, under the 1st ammendment you can say whatever you like. But when you defame someone's character by lying about them, it's called slander and it's illegal. They lied. When are you republicans going to get tired of these lies? If it's not Bush lying straight to you, it's someone in his cabinet. If it's not his cabinet, it's one of the actors the Reps get to play a role on TV. Remember the firemen in the 9/11 ads? Yep, actors too. I love how Bush criticizes Kerry's role in Vietnam when he was too wussy to even SERVE in the military. And that was classic when he flew in on the Harrier 2 miles off shore. Yah, a real hero. Yes, the media is tainted, whether its CNN, FOX, MSNBC, or whatever, which is why you all need to stop being sheep and start doing the research for youselves. God forbid Kerry changes his mind about anything. Have you guys forgotten all the campaign issues Bush promised he would stand ground on when he was a candidate 4 years ago, but quickly changed his mind once he was in office? I guess you have. Sad. I'm going to have to move to Canada if Bush wins again. And the sad truth is he probably will. By the end of his next term, this country will be so far gone that there will be no hope for it, Hillary Clinton or not. And Bush didn't get into Yale or graduate with any sort of great average. He paid his way in, and graduated with a C average. I guess all that coke and binge drinking affected his studies. Here's Bush's track record. Please, tell me what about this man is enticing:
•I attacked and took over 2 countries.
•I spent the U.S. surplus and bankrupted the US Treasury.
•I shattered the record for the biggest annual deficit in history (not easy!).
•I set an economic record for the most personal bankruptcies filed in any 12 month period.
•I set all-time record for the biggest drop in the history of the stock market.
•I am the first president in decades to execute a federal prisoner.
•In my first year in office I set the all-time record for most days on vacation by any president in US history (tough to beat my dad's, but I did).
•After taking the entire month of August off for vacation, I presided over the worst security failure in US history.
•I set the record for most campaign fund raising trips by any president in US history.
•In my first two years in office over 2 million Americans lost their jobs.
•I cut unemployment benefits for more out-of-work Americans than any other president in US history.

•I presided over the biggest energy crises in US history and refused to intervene when corruption was revealed.
•I cut health care benefits for war veterans.
•I set the all-time record for most people worldwide to simultaneously take to the streets to protest me (15 million people), shattering the record for protest against any person in the history of mankind.
•I dissolved more international treaties than any president in US history.
•I've made my presidency the most secretive and unaccountable of any in US history.
•Members of my cabinet are the richest of any administration in US history. (The poorest multimillionaire, Condoleeza Rice, has a Chevron oil tanker named after her.)

•I presided over the biggest corporate stock market fraud in any market in any country in the history of the world.
•I am the first president in US history to order a US attack AND military occupation of a sovereign nation, and I did so against the will of the United Nations and the vast majority of the international community.
•I have created the largest government department bureaucracy in the history of the United States, called the "Bureau of Homeland Security"(only one letter away from BS).
•I set the all-time record for biggest annual budget spending increases, more than any other president in US history (Ronnie was tough to beat, but I did it!!).
•I am the first president in US history to compel the United Nations remove the US from the Human Rights Commission.
•I am the first president in US history to have the United Nations remove the US from the Elections Monitoring Board.
•I removed more checks and balances, and have the least amount of congressional oversight than any presidential administration in US history.
•I rendered the entire United Nations irrelevant. I withdrew from the World Court of Law.
•I refused to allow inspectors access to US prisoners of war and by default no longer abide by the Geneva Conventions.
•I am the first president in US history to refuse United Nations election inspectors access during the 2002 US elections.
•I am the all-time US (and world) record holder for most corporate campaign donations.
•The biggest lifetime contributor to my campaign, who is also one of my best friends, presided over one of the largest corporate bankruptcy frauds in world history (Kenneth Lay, former CEO of Enron Corporation).
•I spent more money on polls and focus groups than any president in US history.
•I am the first president to run and hide when the US came under attack (and then lied, saying the enemy had the code to Air Force 1)
•I am the first US president to establish a secret shadow government.
•I took the world's sympathy for the US after 9/11, and in less than a year made the US the most resented country in the world (possibly the biggest diplomatic failure in US and world history).
•I am the first US president in history to have a majority of the people of Europe (71%) view my presidency as the biggest threat to world peace and stability.
•I changed US policy to allow convicted criminals to be awarded government contracts.
•I set the all-time record for the number of administration appointees who violated US law by not selling their huge investments in corporations bidding for gov't contracts.
•I have removed more freedoms and civil liberties for Americans than any other president in US history.
•I entered office with the strongest economy in US history and in less than two years turned every single economic category heading straight down.
•RECORDS AND REFERENCES: I have at least one conviction for drunk driving in Maine (Texas driving record has been erased and is not available).
•I was AWOL from the National Guard and deserted the military during time of war.
•I refuse to take a drug test or even answer any questions about drug use. (wink, wink)
•All records of my tenure as governor of Texas have been spirited away to my fathers library, sealed in secrecy and unavailable for public view.
•All records of any SEC investigations into my insider trading or bankrupt companies are sealed in secrecy and unavailable for public view.
•All minutes of meetings of any public corporation for which I served on the board are sealed in secrecy and unavailable for public view.
•Any records or minutes from meetings I (or my VP) attended regarding public energy policy are sealed in secrecy and unavailable for public review.

Your voting for Kerry? Better take a look at what he has done in 18 years in the Senate. Hope you aren't into the 2nd amendment if he gets in. Maybe they figure the way he wants the UN so much more in are business you won't need your guns
#117
Sad. I'm going to have to move to Canada if Bush wins again.
Your listing of Bush's record is tainted. It's amazing how you think Bush is responsible for the stock market and all the coporate scandals. You dont understand economy. I really dont think its fair or even logical to equate that with who sat in the president's chair. If anything, the scandals were all done during the clinton years and under the Bush years though it was painful, truth was found out in accounting practices and the SEC cracked down on them. Funny how all that abuse was hidden during Clinton years to make things appear more than they were. Funny how Clinton left the economy spiraling downward.
Bush didnt spend the surplus b/c ther was no surplus. Clinton had that PROJECTED. Not real money.
Did you know why there was a deficit under Bush? b/c he is worried about you and protecting you. He increased spending for the military (which Clinton gutted to say he balanced the budget). Your freind Kerry has voted to cut military and inteligence spending EVERYTIME in the senate. And yes, he will raise your taxes and seek to limit (or eliminate) your riding spots to please the environmentalists. Go read his policies on the environment. dont listen to what he says. he will say anything.
As far as the UN goes, screw them. Talk about a waste of money. We pay them BILLIONS of dollars a year for them to tell us we suck. We had alot to do with their creation. who cares what they think?
ALL they want now is a country's soveregnty...and the US' money.

It's true, I can't deny the fact that the UN is a joke. We run the UN despite what the rest of the world would like to think.
Yah, as of now, Bush is ahead in the electoral college. Another joke that thing is.
Yes, I couldn't care less about what Kerry will do with the 2nd amendment. I live in NY, I don't need guns to be safe, we have police that do that for us. I see no reason why automatic weapons and assault rifles should be legalized. The quote from Bowling for Columbine says it best: "Deer and rabbits are not hunted with TEK-9 submachine guns." That coming from the father of one of the murdered kids. Please don't start bashing Moore now, that's a whole other issue. If you feel you need a gun or 2 for protection, that's fine, whatever. I'm not going to start spewing stats about the dangers of guns. BUT, I would love to hear an intelligent argument about why assault rifles should be legalized. They serve no good. Why, because criminals have them we should have them too? Again, zero argument there. A rediculous statement.
Bush had nothing to do with Enron? Are you serious? 'Kenny Boy' anyone? And I understand that the economy is in a recession, but I don't feel Bush handled it properly. Bringing a country to war to jumpstart a failing economy is just wrong. But, I understand that's a Republican mentality. They're warmongers. And giving crazy tax refunds to the public is also not going to work. The trickle down model only works in theory. There are no statistics behind it, which is why it's favored by republicans - there's no proof it's a crappy way to handle money. Even with the war and tax cuts, people are still losing jobs by the millions. What did the economy jump at the last count, .01%? And he touts taht as a victory? Come on, that's rediculous. He just didn't handle the economy correctly, and millions of peopel are suffering because of it. Not to mention that welfare and social security are on their way out. Thanks GW for taking all those treasury bonds. I'm sure that when I retire I can live off all of those IOUs you left me.
Don't even get me started on his evangelical 'god put me here' attitude.
Now, I am a Democrat. However, I don't feel JK will be the saving grace of this country. I'm realistic. As somoene said before, they're not voting for Bush so much as they're voting against Kerry. That's exactly how I feel. I'm not going to be voting for Kerry so much as I'm going to be voting against Bush. I feel we need a change in the White House. Bush tried, and he failed at his job miserably, just as he failed at school and all those companies he ran to the ground. He had his chance and blew it. So let's see what someone else can do.

Hey, kawisomethingorother, can I borrow some of your material, that is some funny stuff. Of course I will add a little to it to make it more true to the facts, if that is OK?
1. "And that was classic when he flew in on the Harrier 2 miles off shore. Yah, a real hero."
Yah, I wouldn't take advantage of the chance to fly in a Harrier and land on an Aircraft Carrier. What was he thinking, where would the fun in that be?
2. "God forbid Kerry changes his mind about anything."
Ah, I think you made a mistake here, I think you meant to say "Everything", not "anything".
3. "I'm going to have to move to Canada if Bush wins again."
Hey, isn't that where Clinton and Gore went to keep from having to serve in the military? I might be wrong.
4. "And Bush didn't get into Yale or graduate with any sort of great average. He paid his way in, and graduated with a C average."
See kids, as long as you try, there is still a chance for you to be President some day, so stay in school.
5. "I guess all that coke and binge drinking affected his studies."
Ya, that would make Bush what, the first college student to ever drink or do drugs? Go figure.
6. "I am the first president in decades to execute a federal prisoner."
It's about time... NEXT!!!
7. "In my first year in office I set the all-time record for most days on vacation by any president in US history."
Yah, that's much worse than going to work every day and having your intern on there knees giving dictation all day.
8. "I appointed more convicted criminals to administration positions than any president in US history."
And they say prison doesn't rehabilitate anyone. Guess they were wrong.
9. "I signed more laws and executive orders amending the Constitution than any other US president in history."
WHAT, just when I was getting used to all the laws that were written over 200 years ago, now they want to go and change them? Crap!!!
10. "I presided over the biggest energy crises in US history and refused to intervene when corruption was revealed."
"PRESIDED OVER" Was he there? I will have to go back and check the photos. I'll get back to you on that one.
11. " I've made my presidency the most secretive and unaccountable of any in US history."
Oh yah, compared to what, the Clintons? HaHaHhaa....... Haa Ha Ha Hhaaa....... Hahahaa Haa Hhaa.... No, I'll be OK, just give me a minute.
12. "Members of my cabinet are the richest of any administration in US history."
Yah, that will be one good thing about Kerry and Edwards, if they happen to win. They are POOR, right.
13. "I presided over the biggest corporate stock market fraud in any market in any country in the history of the world."
Please see response to #10.
14. "I rendered the entire United Nations irrelevant. I withdrew from the World Court of Law."
I think you give him too much credit, the UN has been irrelevant every since they started passing Resolutions and not backing them up with actions.
15. "I am the first president to run and hide when the US came under attack (and then lied, saying the enemy had the code to Air Force 1)"
All I can say is WHAT??? You need to stop typing when you are Wink, Wink, taking your medication.
16. "I am the first US president to establish a secret shadow government."
Ya, OK, if you say so.
17. "Yah, as of now, Bush is ahead in the electoral college. Another joke that thing is."
Yes it is a joke, but it has worked for a couple hundred years. I bet you wouldn't complain about it if Kerry had the lead.
18. "Bringing a country to war to jumpstart a failing economy is just wrong. But, I understand that's a Republican mentality. They're warmongers."
YAH, I'M WITH YA MAN. How dare we respond back to them airplanes hitting our buildings and killing all those people. What the H*LL were we thinking.
WOW!!! I get the impression that you actually believe all of this B.S.. If it wasn't so laughable, it would be truly sad. But hey, way to tow the party line. Good luck with all your "Issues".
Now Mr. Moore, you need to get off of our Forum, go back to directing your B.S. movies (I use the term loosely), and for God's sake, man get off the drugs and get some help. Hey, they got that Socialized Medicine up there in Canada. They should be able to help you out when you get there.
