Kerry is running for president, which by definition is swearing to uphold and defend the constitution of this country.
In his desperation to achieve this office, he and his party are taking steps through legal intimidation to halt the marketing of the books and the privately funded free speech of a group (the swift boaters).
Just this action disqualifies him from holding that or any public office.

OK, so you guys are going to vote for Bush because you think Kerry will take away your riding land? You guys are out of your MINDS to vote for Bush. Now, I know I'm not going to change anyone's mind (I know how political discussions work), but you really should take a look at his stats (since Kerry's were posted). And the swiftboatsveteransfortruth ads were taken off the air, they have gotten a laywer (because I am sure they're going to be sued for slander). Yes, under the 1st ammendment you can say whatever you like. But when you defame someone's character by lying about them, it's called slander and it's illegal. They lied. When are you republicans going to get tired of these lies? If it's not Bush lying straight to you, it's someone in his cabinet. If it's not his cabinet, it's one of the actors the Reps get to play a role on TV. Remember the firemen in the 9/11 ads? Yep, actors too. I love how Bush criticizes Kerry's role in Vietnam when he was too wussy to even SERVE in the military. And that was classic when he flew in on the Harrier 2 miles off shore. Yah, a real hero. Yes, the media is tainted, whether its CNN, FOX, MSNBC, or whatever, which is why you all need to stop being sheep and start doing the research for youselves. God forbid Kerry changes his mind about anything. Have you guys forgotten all the campaign issues Bush promised he would stand ground on when he was a candidate 4 years ago, but quickly changed his mind once he was in office? I guess you have. Sad. I'm going to have to move to Canada if Bush wins again. And the sad truth is he probably will. By the end of his next term, this country will be so far gone that there will be no hope for it, Hillary Clinton or not. And Bush didn't get into Yale or graduate with any sort of great average. Your voting for Kerry? Better take a look at what he has done in 18 years in the Senate. Hope you aren't into the 2nd amendment if he gets in. Maybe they figure the way he wants the UN so much more in are business you won't need your guns

Your listing of Bush's record is tainted. It's amazing how you think Bush is responsible for the stock market and all the coporate scandals. You dont understand economy. I really dont think its fair or even logical to equate that with who sat in the president's chair. If anything, the scandals were all done during the clinton years and under the Bush years though it was painful, truth was found out in accounting practices and the SEC cracked down on them. Funny how all that abuse was hidden during Clinton years to make things appear more than they were. Funny how Clinton left the economy spiraling downward.
Bush didnt spend the surplus b/c ther was no surplus. Clinton had that PROJECTED. Not real money.
Did you know why there was a deficit under Bush? b/c he is worried about you and protecting you. He increased spending for the military (which Clinton gutted to say he balanced the budget). Your freind Kerry has voted to cut military and inteligence spending EVERYTIME in the senate. And yes, he will raise your taxes and seek to limit (or eliminate) your riding spots to please the environmentalists. Go read his policies on the environment. dont listen to what he says. he will say anything.
As far as the UN goes, screw them. Talk about a waste of money. We pay them BILLIONS of dollars a year for them to tell us we suck. We had alot to do with their creation. who cares what they think?

It's true, I can't deny the fact that the UN is a joke. We run the UN despite what the rest of the world would like to think.
Yah, as of now, Bush is ahead in the electoral college. Another joke that thing is.
Yes, I couldn't care less about what Kerry will do with the 2nd amendment. I live in NY, I don't need guns to be safe, we have police that do that for us. I see no reason why automatic weapons and assault rifles should be legalized. The quote from Bowling for Columbine says it best: "Deer and rabbits are not hunted with TEK-9 submachine guns." That coming from the father of one of the murdered kids. Please don't start bashing Moore now, that's a whole other issue. If you feel you need a gun or 2 for protection, that's fine, whatever. I'm not going to start spewing stats about the dangers of guns. BUT, I would love to hear an intelligent argument about why assault rifles should be legalized. They serve no good. Why, because criminals have them we should have them too? Again, zero argument there. A rediculous statement.
Bush had nothing to do with Enron? Are you serious? 'Kenny Boy' anyone? And I understand that the economy is in a recession, but I don't feel Bush handled it properly. Bringing a country to war to jumpstart a failing economy is just wrong. But, I understand that's a Republican mentality. They're warmongers. And giving crazy tax refunds to the public is also not going to work. The trickle down model only works in theory. There are no statistics behind it, which is why it's favored by republicans - there's no proof it's a crappy way to handle money. Even with the war and tax cuts, people are still losing jobs by the millions. What did the economy jump at the last count, .01%? And he touts taht as a victory? Come on, that's rediculous. He just didn't handle the economy correctly, and millions of peopel are suffering because of it. Not to mention that welfare and social security are on their way out. Thanks GW for taking all those treasury bonds. I'm sure that when I retire I can live off all of those IOUs you left me.
