I just wanted to tell everyone to be careful and watchful over the next few weeks/months. I know you've all heard on the news about the new terror-alerts and they are to be taken seriously.

I wish I could go more into detail but the truth is the information is so convoluted and uncertain that no one really knows anything for sure. Even in the FEMA offices they are not sure what they are dealing with, yet they are preparing for anything. I do know that FBI, CIA, NSA and DOD memos are all saying basically the same thing, and that is that there is a high level of threat.

I'm hoping that the NYPD is just posturing on their supposed strike during the GOP convention because that could be a real problem. Anyone in the NYC area should be very vigilant, tensions are high here right now.

I know you guys out in rural America don't feel the threat as much, but still be aware. No one in Oklahoma City thought they were a target of a madman that day either.

I don't want to scare anyone, I just want to pass on that the threats are out there and right now there is a feeling that they could in fact be very real.

America united is a power tool of unmeasureable strength.

i guess if theres a good side to living in the sticks, its that youre rarely a terrorist's target. i mean, what are they gonna do? rape my cows? blow up my silo? could be worse.
