Favorite weather to Ride in.

I like to ride in the colder season the best. We normally ride on private land so while we are riding if we get to cold we just stop, start a fire, warm up and go again. ( after we put the fire out of course ).

When it snows, I tie a couple of sleds on the back of my 500 and pull the kiddies around. They think it's great!
Last Christmas day, we received about a foot of snow. My kids pretty much forgot about their presents and we spent the entire day on the 4-wheeler.

in the fall i like to take a thermos of coffee and leave camp early enough to find a mountain top with a good easterly view. then kill the engine and sit with a cup of coffee, waiting for sunrise. nothing beats a nice, cool, misty fall morning in the woods.
i'll ride all winter long. i can always find a reason to be riding when its cool to cold. a nice fall or winter storm is icing on the cake. i hunt and run a small trapline at that time of year. or just hit the timberlands and ride for the sheeer fun of seeing whats over the next hill.
i too tie a long sled on and drag the grandkids all over the place when it snows. but good sledding snow is rare in oklahoma.
i guess if i have a least favorite time to ride, its in the heat of summer. i'll still go out during or after a rainstorm. but when the sun comes out and the humidity climbs, i put it back in the shed and go inside. i'm not a big fan of sunburns and sweat so i need a really good reason to be out in the heat.
