Fenders: Cut or no cut?
I've always cut fenders on my quad so I can see my front tires....but on my YFZ I didn't need to. I kept them on.....I can still see my tires, and they aren't so big that they will pick me up like a kite on the big jumps!! LOL!! So......I left my YFZ fenders alone. Nice to have some protection from the mud up front this way, too....

Fenders: Cut or no cut?
Never ever felt the need to cut the fenders, i always left them alone as they just added to the little mud protection that they had....
(most often useful for river bed crossings, keeps flinging water for the most part off of me!)
Most of the fenders that come on the sports quads such as the YFZ, Raptor, 450R...ect.... Are just for looks i think, they really dont serve much protection!

Fenders: Cut or no cut?
i cut them off . i felt like i didnt get soo much mud on me after i took them off. before i cut them i felt all the mud the tires shot up was hitting my face, i guess its because i have extended a arms it deflected from the fender to my face. now all the mud i get is on my boots.
