I spent several years looking for a loophole to get a quad street legal in indiana and I just pulled it off. It is titled and plated as a mc, and I can go anywhere. Started a little business out of it if there is any indiana riders out there hit me up. you can sheck it out at myspace.com/streetquads This is the first one done in the state and I am the only one that can pull it off.

First you'll need this (http://littlefootconversions.com/Kit/kit.htm) lights, horns, real tires, and turn signals(/a)</end quote></div>
So, you're selling this stuff? The link doesn't work.
In Arizona you don't need to change tires, and you don't need turn signals. Out of 3 quads in the family I have street plates on 2 of them.

I ride them to the store for minor errands and up to the pumps to refuel. From my place the neighborhood C-store is almost 6 miles by car but only 2 miles by ATV.

I live east of Fort Wayne and am interested in making my Polaris Sportsman 500 street legal. Please call me or e-mail to tell me how. There is someone who did it with a car plate using a windshield, dot tires etc.

Here in northern Minnesota, if you are going a reasonable speed and not causing harm they generally don't bother you with just a regular atv license on it.</end quote></div>

WOW this is awesome. Thanks for sharing. I know in many other countries they are street legal. But I think they probably have turn signals, etc. But I wonder why more US manufacturers don't already equip them with this? It's def true that in many instances, such as winter, it IS a safer to travel short distances!!!!!
