Default Oh, ya...this is fast

Heres the text of the article,

Wabasha, MN, Sep. 21 (UPI) -- The Minnesota State Patrol pilot couldn't believe his stopwatch when he clocked a motorcycle on U.S. 61 traveling at 205 mph.
Man arrested for going 140 mph over limit
The Minnesota State Patrol pilot couldn't believe his stopwatch when he clocked a motorcycle on U.S. 61 traveling at 205 mph.
"I was in total disbelief," Al Loney told Tuesday's St. Paul (Minn.) Pioneer Press. "I had to double-check my watch because, in 27 years, I'd never seen anything move that fast."

In fact, Looney said the motorcycle was traveling faster than his airplane.

Loney radioed another state trooper, who stopped the two motorcyclists Saturday and arrested the faster rider, Samuel Armstrong Tilley, 20, for reckless driving, driving without a motorcycle license -- and driving 140 mph over the speed limit.

Tilley, by the way, is the son of a Washington County sheriff's deputy.

Several law enforcement sources told the newspaper Tilley might have set the record for the fastest speeding ticket in Minnesota history.

Of course he would not have to worry about crashing. He would not be around to see the aftermath.

Geez guys, cut him some slack. I would love to do that. I would NEVER do that of course, but it would be cool for a few seconds, right up till your front tire came off the ground and *poof* you would be a memory. Those guys are nuts, but hey, if you got it, flaunt it.

I wonder if he broke the record for biggest fine for a speeding ticket. It cost me $40 for going 66 in a 55 in Minnesota.

That must have been years ago because it is now $80 for 10 miles an hour or less over the limit. I know this because last year I was driving down a county road on my way to work and wasn't paying attention to how fast I was going and here comes a sheriff. He had me clocked at 70 mph and tagged me for 65mph and the fines are printed out on the back of the ticket. The best part is the next day I was dumd enough to do the same thing and a trooper pulled me over in the same spot and tagged me for 65 in a 55.

I want to know how many mods his bike had.
I've heard a stock 1000 bike can't go that fast. for one there capped at 184 and also i don't think the stock motor has enough power.
least this is what i've been told by friends who are into rockets.
