OK just posted a couple of pic of my 1968 Chevelle SS after restoring it. That was a really fun project that got very expensive also. Man that car was fun to drive though. Check out the numbers on the window after returning from the street car race. For being street legal it would plant you in the seat till you got it into 4th.

396 11.5/1 compression, alumnimun heads, torker II intake, Edelbrock 750 carb, Muncie close ratio 4 speed, centerforce clutch with race lightened flywheel.

when i was younger i had a '66 GTO convertable w/ 389 - 4spd. and im now restoring a '66 T-bird w/ 429 auto.

i cant wait to get the bird back on the street.

Thanks that was a typo on the Challenger. It is a 71 RT Yellow with the Black RT Strip down the side. 440 factory HP with auto pistol grip shifter. Still all original.

The 73 was in my mind because my Best friend has a 73 Charger.

These are some nice rides.

How about the 69 Formula Firebird. 400 engine and duel hood scoops like the GTO. Very nice.

 

my fav is definetly the chevy chevelle ss 454!! love throwin it in second and burnin out!! even though i dont have my license. soon soon.
