Almost nobody outside of Illinois or Missouri knows that the Cardinals do indeed have pitching. The names just aren't famous yet, but trust me, you AL boys will be suprised with the bullpen the Cards have.
I do know that they have 5 starters with 11 or more wins including: Marquis, Carpenter, Morris, Suppan and Williams. With Isringhausen the closer with 54 regular season saves.

Well I'm not so sure about that, but it's most definitely competitive enough to go places. Houston used to have the unbelievable pitching staff, but those days are gone in my opinion. Rams are gonna move up to #1 in the NFC West this week. Seahawks will lose to the Patriots and the Rams will beat the Bucs at home. Proud to live in the STL-area.

6-4 last night. 2-0 Cardinals. I generally pull for the American League, but I want to see the birds rock the Yankees!

The stats show the Cardinals having the best pin in the N.L, thats why I said that! How about Rolen waking up last night!? If we are to win, we will need all we've got! I'am not counting the Astro's out just yet, although it will be hard for them to come back, I would love to see the Cards beat the snot out of the Yankees in the series!

Uh Oh, Astros are up 3-2. Happened to turn the channel last night to see Jeff Kent's 3 run shot off of Isringhausen to win the game.
