Read the title of this thread. You also have a link that Kerry did in fact bring along "reading material" that was not supposed too be there.

I don't even understand why we have the debates, oh wait, so we can have something for all the news channels to talk about.

The rules are the rules, and Kerry broke them.

Big Surprise.

A politician lied, cheated, or did not do what they said.....

Is the Friday Debate the Health Care debate?

I hope Bush tells Kerry that his running mate is responsible for a % of the rising health care costs.

Are you all prepared for the attack that I think is coming before the election?
That only leaves us 3 weeks. Thats scary.
What do you guys think will happen to the election if it does happen?

One of the more interesting points of health care is PRESCRIPTION DRUGS. We in the states are paying over 2 times what we whould be paying. Why? Because drug manufacturers have everyone in their pocket. EVERYONE!

I know, that health care thing is a bad deal.
I am not for Government health care, I personally think the private sector is much more efficient than Government.
The only problem with the perscription drug thing, is that if we take the profits from the drug companies ( I know they have too much to begin with anyway), I think it could slow research for new drugs. But then again, I also believe there are cures for some of the ailments but the drug companies make too much money off the treatment.
Its a screwed up deal, kind of like EVERYTHING else.......
I just hope a suitcase bomb does not get set off................

The drug companies need 'more' free market pressure rather than 'more' government regulation. They will charge as much as they can until pressure builds. When a third party pays (insurance, medicare, etc) people don't tend to even question the cost. If they are bucking up just like buying a stereo you start shopping and buy the best deal and the market competition drives costs down.

Bzzzt! Watch the film clips. Kerry picked up a piece of paper that was on the podium for notes, as agreed by both parties. Bush had the same paper availiable.

The only possible complaint is that Kerry took his pen out of his pocket, rather than use the one provided. They both had pen and paper made availiable, and the paper came blank.

it is just so odd that Kerry using provided paper for notes is somehow cheating, but Bush using the same paper is not. Really odd.
