Another house burnt down

I'm sure they are being investigated and they are doing their best. I'll bet they would be interested in speaking to someone who's been at every fire. Perhaps you should call them.

Kawasakirules guess you have nothing better to do then watch the police and fire dept. Heck if you've been to every fire, why don't you know who the arsonist is You seem to have all the answers for not being "involved"

I hate to say it,,,,but I see a lot of arsons that are committed by firemen, or ex-firemen. Every time I read about an arsonist on the loose,,,,i think,,,,some fireman somehere needs a little job security. (either that or a hippie is protesting local development)
No disrespect to the hard working legitimate firemen/women in this world.

In this area, the first thing that would come to mind is that a fireman did it. Mainly because they have in the past. Really it could be anyone. My one neighbor used to be a fireman. He was kicked out of one or two fire companies for some reason. He owns land across the road from us. He would burn stuff all the time. He would stand outside staring at the fires until 2 or 3 in the morning. (without a beer in his hand )
There have been a few fires in a near by town. So far, 3 barns, one house and a business.

As far as fires being started by fire personel. Yes, unfortunately it does happen But, I know they are still actively investigated and presecutedThey are not sweeped under the carpet, like some people would like to assumeArson is one of the hardest crimes to investigate. Alot of the evidence has to be looked at in a lab/scientific environment. Unless there was a witness to the event. And, so far, as this thread goes, the only witness is Kawasakirules, and he hasn't stepped up to the plate to talk to the authorities

if i was an unhappy homeowner, who had all my insurance premiums paid up, i know how i'd get out from under a bad mortgage and let someone else take the blame. i'll bet some of that is already happening.
and who knows? it could well be a cop or fireman doin some work with matches on the side. someone who is aware of, or even involved in the investigation could keep the fingers pointed away from themselves. i heard of a fireman that kept his wife from getting a rent house in a divorce by "loosing" it to a serial arsonist. that is until an independant investigator found a flaw in his plan.
