Is it worth buy this 2002 400ex with some mods for $1800 even if the kid i would get it from does not have the title and bill of sale for it. I know the kid selling the quad so i know that the quad is not stolen but, even if he has no paper work for it is it worth getting?

he can get a new title for it at the motor vehical department. and he can give you a hand written bill of sale as long as he has the title and its free and clear
I would do a little research on it before I would buy it. and its worth 1800 easy

 

mucky, good call. a title is only one trip to the dmv.
at the least, write down the vin number and do a search on it. check with the local police department on it. then get a bill of sale.

1800 for a 2002 is a very good by but I would insist on a new title first[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

Yeah it's low $ but the kid rode the hell out of it so it's pretty beat up. I'm gonna talk to him about the title.
