I to am guilty of wasting company time here. I look at it like a raise.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] I'am on salary so the more time I spend not working is money in my pocket.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] We are supposed to use the internet for mail, but even the boss uses it for personal use.

 

Prior to 'Net access, I played Solitare, Minesweeper and Chess.
Prior to computer access, I worked, took smoke breaks, gabbed with friends, read the newspaper, etc.
Imagine all those poor folks that aren't working in an office with 'Net access. Gives me the *******....work, eeeew!

 

LOL...

Im at work... and I stay logged on most of the day... when the server is down, I go freakin nuts! I cant imagine life without the internet or my cell phone [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] They seem to make my life easier and time fly a little faster (when your bored).

 

That's funnier than you'll ever know. Been retired for 4 years and the biggest scandal at work in 2001 was someone in the office was caught playing golf on the internet. That's when they took away internet access from everyone except top management, and they started some kind of "monitoring" software that printed out how each terminal spent it's day. LOL

 

HA! i got a new job ive been doing for a month, i sit in an air conditioned room with a computer and a scale measuring the weight of trucks leaving in our local CO-OP! and surfing this site[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]




o and listening to country music[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-cool.gif[/img]

 

i work on cars and between jobs i check out the sight. my wife is telling me she noticed my pay going down over the last couple of months and theres nothing can do about it. i'm on commision. i saw a sign at work that said "if it's broke. replace it." i'm wondering when the companies gonna tell me when to pack my stuff.........haha

 

Server down...I about cry. Too bored at work. I usually have 3 tabs running, at the min. Groklaw, the forums and usually CNN...but there just isn't enough news generally. Sometimes I jump over to an RV forum, but it's been months. Or I'll just start looking something up.
