Ripping DVD's

You can download DVD Decripter here http://www.afterdawn.com/software/vi..._decrypter.cfm
You might want to look at this also http://www.cdfreaks.com/news/11914
So in otherwords, get it while you can.

Sorry to resurrece this thread but I have another question. I have Huevos 7 on my computer. I converted the ISO so it will play but I can only get it to play with the DVD player on my computer. Its a VOB file. How can I convert it to windows media or another format? Thanks...

The best bet would be to convert it to divX video, I forget whether or not the encoder is free, though. But try to do that first.

I thought you might reply Im trying to get my videos into a format that will play with windows media player. I dont know if DivX will. If you leave yours as ISO's then how do you view them on your computer? Or do you just keep them as ISO's for backup purposes?

I keep the iso's so I can burn high quality DVD's later, but I watch them using either this:
Here is a site with it.
Both of these programs create a virtual CD drive when you open the iso (like a G drive, or whatever letter is next on your PC) with the ISO file as if it were a recorded disk in this new drive.
Understand?

You can also use Nero 6 Ultra Edition (it has a virtual drive imager as well). You can download the Demo online, and the key can be "acquired" online. (If you quote me, doing that is immoral and unlawful, just so you know).

I understand. I dont think I'm going to get... or "steal"... Nero. I just hope I can find the DivX converter for free. Ill try and get that DivX plug-in. That sounds good. Thanks for the help once again. I'm sure your already tired of answering my questions
