Talk about your TRAIL MIX!
#11
Ride to simultaneously perform and have fun, not caring about who's is better than whose...AND THERE IT IS. It seems as if the rest of the world is caught up in this "my ____ can smoke a ____" and all that other stupid stuff...well to those guys - go ride, all you do is talk.

Let me explain what one of my riding days may be like in my area with a small story as an example...
It is a nice day for some ATVing and after talking to my friend at my house, we decide we will go do some river trail riding. We call up 3 of our ATV friends, which all have different ATVs. I ride my Mojave and my friend rides my other Mojave. The other 3 ride a Honda ATC, Grizzly, and a Recon. We would meet them in about 15 minutes at the usual Wilson Concrete(concrete place) gravel road. We'd get ready, fill up on gas, and go. After meeting up with the other 3, us 5 take a high-speed dusty trip down a dirt road to find the trails at the end. We'd hit some deep whoops, cruize around, usually a follow-the-leader type of thing, then maybe stop and chill on the sandy beach(weird for Nebraska, right?). We'd probably build up this big sand jump then jump off of it, grabbing big air and having fun, not caring about "I got higher than you" or anything, just getting air over and over without worry. Who cares what machine you got. We talk about our machines, ya know, things like "these new tires kick compared to my old ones" or something.
My whole point, don't worry about what he's got or whatever, and go ahead and talk about your machine, but not in a "mine's better" type of way. If you're racing, keep those thoughts to yourself. It's all good.
Our usual mix...
Kawasaki Mojave
Kawasaki Mojave
Honda ATC
Recon
Grizzly
