Well, I'm 37 and married. Two children. Live in Dallas Tx. Have been riding on and off since I was 7yrs old but have never raced.

Currently I ride a 400ex with FMF pipe and K&N filter and jet kit. DG skid plate also.

I ride all around North Texas area.

I have a 1997 suburban and pull a 5x12 flat bed trailer.

My wife now want to ride so I bought her a new 1999 Red Recon. Lots of fun to ride.

My favorite place to ride is Little Sahara in Oklahoma. I ride with friends that ride one 300ex, 2 Banshees, one warrior.

Rides I have owned in the past: 1971 Suzuki 50cc, 1975 Suzuki TM125, 1975 Honda XL100, 1983 Honda XR350, 1983 Honda XL185, 1984 Honda XL350, 1997 Honda TRX300 2x4, 1999 Honda 400ex, and My wife's 1999 Recon. Also various other pieces of junk I convinced myself I could fix up, but eventually sold to get out of the garage.

Always wanted a Bultaco, Maico or Husky but had to settle for the cheaper Jap bikes. Love the old Vintage Bikes. Have always wanted a XR75 or Z50. Someday if I stumble across one in good shape, I will buy it.

Still remember the Yamaha mini trail 60. Do any of you?

Notice the big gap between early 80's and the late 90's. This is where I attempted to become a contributing member of society, but failed miserably.

I guess it's obvious I like Honda but I think all brands have their high points.

Name: Michael Lasher
Reside: Plainville, CT.

Bios: I am 28 years old and married with a 5-year-old son. I am a computer developer.

Experience: I started with quads 14 months ago. Never rode (besides on the back a few times as a teenager) a quad or motorcycle before. I would not even ride the quads from the front of the dealer to the truck across the parking lot. I didn’t know how to shift yet!

Quads: 98 Blaster – This was my first quad. I drove a neighbor's one Saturday and the next weekend brought this one. I handed it down to the wife after two months when I brought my Banshee. No mods yet to this quad.

99 Banshee (Blue) – I love this machine. Mods to date:
Maxxis Razr’s all around
DG Nerf Bars
Paul Turner Mid Range pipes (chromed)
K&N filter w/ Outerwares
Fastline Brake Lines (front only so far)

Riding: I mostly ride in the pits behind my house. Not very big, but I have direct access from my yard. I joined the NEATVA and started riding in MA a little. A few pits and some trails.

Racing: I just started this year. I race in the Novice Open class at the Southwick MA and Jolly Roger (Lempster NH) tracks. While I may not be very good (getting better), but I have a lot of fun and I am truly addicted.

Towing: In the order of use:
Friend’s Chevy Pickup – used this to pick up both quads from the dealer.
Father –in-laws green minivan with wood paneling – I used this to get to the races. The Banshee will fit in the back. Remove the seats, lower the handlebars and it fit by a hair.
Big Tex 5x14 trailer with a gate – I just brought this about one month ago.
Father’s Chevy “Family Truckster” station wagon – I did not have a hitch yet for my vehicle so I borrowed his wagon to pull my trailer.
Final combo will be:
98 Dodge Intrepid ES (225hp) pulling the trailer. Within the next month I will get the hitch.

Hy name is Kyle Kimball, age 35, from Nederland, Texas. I am a commercial fisherman (shrimper, Gulf of Mexico for 12 years).I have had several different 3-4 Wheelers. I currently don't own any 4x4 (Besides a 1998 Dodge Ram 2500 Diesel 4x4 Quad cab, A 16ft.lowboy and a 60 ft Trawler) I hope to get a Grizzly or a Kodiac 2000 model. No kids yet but one is on the way. I have had several things I have been trying to accomplish before buying (getting things in order). Me and a friend are going to buy in a month or so (We will be buying the same type of bikes so we can ride together) Good Luck Everyone.

TJ Romano (AKA Hillside Hawk)

Age: 30
I'm new to the quads. Riding a '94 TRX300EX I picked up in May.
Previous 2-wheel rides: Minibike, Suzuki 50, Yamaha 80, Hodaka 125....then came marriage.
Married four years, daughter (2) new hatchling on the way (any day now).
I'm enjoying woods and trail riding on my Honda. I've got some nice mods made to it (nothing extreme) and love the improvements.

Currently I'm scorching my cousin and his Polaris TrailBlazer! (Trade in and trade up Rattler) Looks like I'll be at Silver Lake looking for some real competition soon.

Love the takes so far in this thread. I'm out.

Detroit Rock City --- 94 TRX300EX

Dean Powell (AKA Internet name ARRON)

I currently have a 98>450ES, 96>Banshee, and 97>Timberwolf.

I live here in North Carolina and ride mostly in North Carolina. I do ride out of state but that is only on my vehicle not my ATV.

My usual long distance place that I go to and like riding at is in the Appalachian Mountains.

My tow vehicles are a 98>Chevy C/K Silverado 1500 extended cab diesel Z-71, 99>Chevy Z-71 Tahoe, 00>Chevy 2500 extended cab Silverado Z-71 (with the vortec 6000 engine).

I pull a two-axle fold down type trailer (very normal nothing amazing).

I could say I have been riding in the off-road market for 10 years now.

I love to ride in any terrain. Usually it's not the terrain that stops me it the weather that stops me from riding. Exp. Very hot days, and very cold days. When I encounter this kind of weather I just hop in one of my vehicles and take off. I have heat and air-conditioning in my vehicles but not on my ATV's.

I could enclude much more but this is the short story for now.
