our family was thinking of putting a good sized safe in the basement... for all precautions..... tornadoes.... break ins....... what would be a good material to use as the outter walls.... this will also serve as a area for cover from a storm.... i was thinking of using cynder blocks but doubling the thickness..... so basically putting two of them next to each other all the way around.... and then fill it with some concrete.... is there anything stronger that comes in pieces???? also.. where to get a big combination lock Door about 6 feet tall 2 feet thick?? budget is unlimited so.. if you can give me some pointers.... if you guys even know anything about this random subject??? we also plan on putting valubles in there.... fire arms ammunition.. important papers... etc....
thanks for any information it will be appreciated.

wow i dont think you can build something like that with a lock door thats 2 feet thick. the double thick cement walls sound good. about the door i have no idea where you might get one. im sure they make them
