Pam, I was wondering what happened to you. Frankly, it's nice to have another knowledgable participant in these forums. I'm making it my mission to be creative enough to receive the honor of being published in your newsletter again.

Maybe something on the order of:

Quads or Tele-Tubbies. Which is best for your children?

Artoux --

Tough question!! I think the Bombadier is gonna be a cool machine -- but I don't think I'd buy a first year model. Even with as much research and development as this company has done, there will be some "teething problems".

If you're dune riding, not much can beat the Banshee -- even when you put it up against the new Bombadier, with it's lighter weight and twin cylinder setup, there will probably be hills the Banshee will be able to make that will stick the Bombadier.

For trail riding? I'd pick the 400EX -- but wait a year or two, I think they'll come out with a kick start model that will be a little sportier!

Motocross?? First choice, 250R, second choice, Banshee, third choice 400EX, fourth choice Bombadier. Why? On most tracks, smaller and lighter is better.

Wish I had such a "tough" decision to make. I have NEVER bought a brand-new bike! Waaaa, waaaah waaaah, listen to me whine!

Gordon,

I agree, this new setup really -- er -- how do I say it nicely -- sucks raw eggs!!!

Does anyone know if ATV Connection has changed owners, or if ATV Conn. has sold this part of the business to some congomerate?

Why do I ask? Well, looking back at how requests for information used to be handled, and how they are handled now -- it just has the feel of an entirely different entity.

For instance, I can remember people asking about problems accessing the form before -- and we have always gotten back a really neat reply from a human being -- you know, something like "we had some problems with the system a few nights ago, sorry guys".

Now, the response to respectful requests for information on the new system are met with "this forum is designed only for input from members, and will not recieve direct replies from ATV Connection" Real nice. Sounds more like "No deviation, Kilroy". If the members get a little angry or frustrated and vent -- that specific topic is locked up and no other replies are taken.

Sorry, but I think I've discovered where all those Russian Communists are now working -- for this forum!

The ABSOLUTE worst thing about the new setup? No way to be contacted about topics you have not started, but have made replies to. I don't have time to check each topic every day.

I know this is a free service -- but why in the world did they take a system that was THE BEST ATV forum on the 'net and turned it into something that is a hassle to use???

Was is a cost factor? An ease of use for the people at ATV Conn.? Who knows? And by the sound of it, we never will know, since not a SINGLE request for information on the change has EVER been answered directly by ATV Connection (yup, I even check archives).

Interesting, indeed!

TRX430EX

No EX's except at work -- just have 'em to test and do R&D work on. The only stuff in my garage has always been the R's (and the 350X).

Uh Oh, I'll bet I get deleted alot then!!!

Power to the people, man!!!

:-)

WhOOOOOOWw.
Pam.
Just got LRD pipe and headers, UPS yesterday wow this thing looks trick. After the first ten inches out of the head after the curve, the pipe sizes up one,one inside the next, that I am told is new and called a exaust reversion keeping the flow moving in one direction to the tune of about 7 inches straight into the y which I must say was perfectly formed for free flow to the bigger than stock collector. Then on to the slip on muffler which cones out to a free flowing(spark arested yea?)8 inch glass pack.

Four pulses now,insted of three.

Will put on soon,After I get the replacment front rim and tie rod.(Bent buy my friend and acura test rider?/mecanic no? who said a tree jumped out in front of him,and took the rim to the lower control arm to meet, and dent.

He crashed my baby!!!! I haven't even crashed it yet.
