is there any1 around here that skateboards?

im buyin a new board sometime this week and im not sure which kind i want. there are so many good brands to choose from.

i want a light midsize board. which board is the best, which berrings are the best, and which wheels are the best. i dont do any vert though..... just street.

 

o yea and by the way.... i currently have a world industries cheater mid board with sum kinda good @$$ berrings and 52mm wheels that i forgot the name of and awsome trucks that i forgot the name of kuz i got them like 2 years ago. its a great board and its light as hell but its time for a new one. i got the board and skated for like a year with it and then i stopped skating kuz i got a quad and school and stuff kuz i found other cool things to do and i kinda forgot about skating and now a motnh ago i got back on the board and realized that i lost my skills and i need to find them agian, haha. a month ago i couldnt even ollie anymore but now i cant do most of the tricks i used to do. it feels good to get back on a skateboard just that now my back, arms, and legs are all messed up from trying all these crazy things on concrete. i could bareley walk today cuz i skated for three days straight. summer= way too much time on my hands, haha.

 

thanks for the help guys, haha. i ended up getting a kerry getz habitat board with venture trucks and spitfire wheels on reds bearings.

LOL! a lot of my friends skate but not me oh yeh and there are tons of skaters in oakland haha

 

I got a 3dm board with 45mm trucks on there and extra 30mm both with springs. I using 68mm wheels. Great for down hill.

im to big to skate board so ill ride my tecate [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] i just weghed in at skool at 185 and 6 ft...i used to be like 5'7 and like 205 but i been riding alot of stuff

 

woo yea! skating and quading are my life! lol and paintballing too.
