What was the point of landing on the moon anyway?? [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img] I dont understand the reasoning for spending that kind of money to do these things. There are sooooo many other things that deserve our attention and money.

 

I guess the moon was boring, because we didn't stay long.

 

Wish I coulda tryed some of that cheese they is always talkin about.

 

I got kicked off the H.S. golf team for showing a full moon in the middle of a match! I didn't realize there were so many people willing to look at my hairy cresent!

Basically because the Russians were trying and we couldnt let the commies do anything faster, better, or before we did. That and if everyone is looking to the moon no one will care who JFK is banging week to week.
