Marky, after you buy that skidoo, you'll need to look at the dootalk forum as well. Oh and Mark, people are alot more **** about sleds than they are fourwheelers, and if they think you dont know something, they will pounce on ya from every angle. Good luck my man!

Now you have done it Marky, You think that quads are addictive wait till you start riding sleds. The thing with them is you ahve to wait till there is enough snow to ride. Let me tell you when it starts getting about this time of year and the snow starts showing on the tops of the mountains it really gets your heart going. I ride a 03 800 polaris Vertical edge 151 and love it. I am on snowest as RMKID been there for quite a while too. You will have to come down am meet me and jed somtime up in Logan and ride tony's or franklin with us.

The bad part about sledding is when we have crappy snow years. Then a guy needs to travel and with the price of fuel it gets spendy quick! We haven't had good snow years in quite a while, it sucks when you have $$$$$$$ invested in a sled with no where to go ride. With the sleds today, 151"+ tracks, 2"+ deep and 150 hp +, it doesn't take long to dig to dirt on a bad snow year. When you roll a sled it cost big $$$$$$ to get them back together too. I have to admit they are a total rush though.... 3' of powder on a good base with sunshine, there is nothing to compare it to!!!!!!!!!

Well I think I've pretty much decided on the Ski Doo in the RT platform. The length of it is still up in the air.

Jed,

Can you tell me (cuz I dont want to ask over there!) what other mods are there on these besides motor, shocks and clutch? I dont see billet on these, so I guess thats not the thing to do? Let me know the inside scoop on these mods. Whats the preferred length on these?

Topper,

Im in good hands with the place I work. They are gonna take me out and get to know how these things work and get a feel for them. Besides, I dont crash that much! LOL

DSaholic,

I'm counting on Idaho to have snow. It sounds like we will end up going in group rides as part of "corporate education". So, hopefully I wont have to pitch too much in for gas!

Marky
