no im rilly selling my motor and getting a yz426 dirt bike motor for my quad. a guy just sid he willl take my motor. and i have a guy saying he will sell his yz motor to me for $1200. yep im getting it.

i mean okk well a 400ex all stock has about 25 hp. well the yz motor pumps out 47 hp allstock. im gona fly like a bird now

 

The YZ426 engines had transmission problems.

I'm not quite sure what exactly the problems with the trannys are, but I have heard that they are prone to blow. You're better off going with something like a CR450F engine.

lol, it practically is[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img] about a week and a half ago it was 50 degrees for a few days strait and there was zero snow! today is about 40 degrees and the couple inches that is on the ground is melting fast...

 

um no way am i getting a crf motor. they cost way more and have valve problums and need to b ajusted constintly. crf and the yz motor are pritty close to the same hp.

 

Would you rather do valve adjustments or rebuild a transmission?

BTW the 426 doesn't have the power of of the 450. The CR450F engines are pushing 51 horsepower at the wheels. The YZ 426 is putting out numbers in the low 40's.
