I have had deer close enough to touch....and I cant shoot when they are that close...the first deer I have ever shot at was about 5 yards from me...and I shot at it 7 times broadside standing still!! Never hit it...it ran towards my dad...he kicked it out of the woods..it ran across the road and got smoked by a car!

My grandma also sang with the carters and Joohnny Cash.
Way back then, they'd go to the radio station and sing. So she goes up to sing and this guy comes up to her and says "Mind if we entertain with ya Ma'am?"
She didn't even know it was Johnny Cash and says"Yeah, so long as ya can keep up." She said the Carters wanted her to tour with them. But she already had 2 or 3 kids. She was a country singer way back, that's how she met my real grandpa. She was Dixie Judy Lee
